Boğaziçi Teknopark is entering a new growth period in which academic knowledge produced at the university will meet entrepreneurship, investment and global markets on a much stronger footing.
Our General Manager Dr. Cem Duran detailed the institution’s vision for the future in an exclusive interview with Platin Magazine. In this context, Dr. Duran shared the ecosystem that is expanding with the Etiler Campus, the activities of the Batman Startup Office, innovative work in artificial intelligence and robotics, and the investment and international market access strategies of startups.
The latest figures reached in line with the institution’s 2026 vision are remarkable. As of the first half of the year, Boğaziçi Teknopark hosts more than 150 technology companies, enabling the completion of over 1,000 R&D projects and providing employment to more than 1,000 R&D engineers. With these production and development activities, the ecosystem’s total export revenue has exceeded 32 million dollars.
Drawing on Boğaziçi University’s deep-rooted academic strength, this structure goes far beyond offering entrepreneurs a physical workspace. The institution aims to build a wide-ranging ecosystem that provides innovative projects with direct access to investors, mentors and global market connections.
